We start out with a boat in a storm. It being pushed around like a toy boat. Unfounatly, two Garnets are on the boat. l have no idea why there are 2 Garnets. Maybe in the game we'll find out, like the FF8 intro. Anyway, soon after the storm sence, Garnet awakens in her room. Seeing it was a dream, she wips off her tears and gets up and looks out the window. She sees Alexandria, and the Prima Vista drawing closer. Little does she know, that ship is the key to her 'kidnap'. We then zoom into the Prima Vista. The camera looks into the window and we see Zidane, sidling down and going into a room. This is were our adventure starts.
INSIDE THE PRIMA VISTA: THE PLAN
We see out hero, Zidane walk into the room. Where can the Tantalos gang be? First, search the room for Gil and items. (im not sure where right now but check back) When your ready, go into the middle of the room and light the candle. You name Zidane. Zidane will be his default name in the guide. Next, 3 of the Tantalus pop in. They'll know its you. After a short talk, a sneak attack! Ready for your first battle?
*****BATTLE 1****
Masked Baku
Around 190 HP
Just attack him. He'll mostly fall so steal a few Potions from him. Don't worry if someone dies. When you hit off around 190 HP, his dragon mask will break and Baku will appear! The leader of the Tantalus is here.
When thats over he'll say you guys got stronger 'n' such. Then he'll kick the door open to the next room..(does this setting and music seem familiar?)In here, we'll see the model of the castle of Alexandria. And Baku will explian the plan. The gang is gonna kidnap Princess Garnet. Next we'll see a FMV movie of the Prima Vista landing. My favorite character, Vivi sees the Vista flying over him. Then we see the title: FINAL FANTASY IX. We now switch to Vivi.
ALEXANDRIA: Vivi's Mission
We see Vivi walking into town to see the play every came for: Let me be your Carnay(something like that). Walk around town. When you see "!" marks or "?" marks, that means you've found something on the floor. So search around. On the main place of Alexandria, you'll see kids jump ropping(see mini-games section). When your done exploring go to the tent with the big sign "TICKET". Go in. And present your ticket to the man(or animal or watever he is). Too bad....its a fake. He'll give you 3 cards cuz he feels bad for you.
**The fake Ticket** After you get the ticket, run into the ally and as usaully, Vivi trips and falls. Then, a small Dragoon comes up and ask him if he wants to see the show, come with him/be his slave. Say "yes"(dont worry, your not gonna be his slave). Then follow Puck, but when you get to the tower, go inside and go up and ring the bell. You'll get 3 cards. Then go to the docks and talk to the kid that says he lost his cat. Search for his cat near the statue. The boy will come and give you a cactuar card. Next, follow Puck running around the rooftops of the houses to get to the show. Spend some time though searching for goodies on the tops of the roofs.
Now we switch again to Zidane's party.
ZIDANE AND THE 'GREAT' PLAY
Now your Zidane, Baku comes out and does the intro. Then you'll get into a fight. Don't worry though. Its a fake fight. Just use physical attacks against the guards. Then use special effects (SFX) and physical attacks to make the play look good. But dont use SFX too much, it doesnt do any damage. Use normal attacks.
After the fight, yiou'll 'fight' Blank. He'll tell you the button to press and you gotta press it FAST! If you get 100 nobles happy, its good and you'll get a special item from Brahne later in the game. Plus you'll get Gil from how good you do. Check my mini-games section for more info on this min-game. After that sence, you run into the castle to capture the princess. You beat up some soldier for there armor. Once you do that, you MUST go up the stairs. You can go through the left or right paths since Alexandria Soldiers always come and Blank makes you hide. (Thoses are pretty nice uniforms ^_^) You then should run up the stairs and you'll see somebody in a hurry. Zidane examines him/her. She seems to be in a big hurry and takes off without saying goodbye. You then finally figure out it was the princess!!
Then, the scene goes to Brahne has her two generals of the Knights of Pluto. Its Adelbert Steiner and Beatrx. She'll give you orders to find the princess. You'll say ok. Before you go to search for her, talk to her again. She'll give you the prize for the fake fight with Zidane and Blank. Search around the castle and look around. When you go to the part where the tower is, you'll post Zidane and the princess! She makes a jump for it with a rope and swings to the other side. So does Zidane, then Steiner goes and is too heavy and smashes into the building. You then end up in the stage. You play along with the play to make it sound like this happed on purpose. Then, the princess robe is burned by a magic trick and her true identiy is reveal to all...ITS GARNET!! You then get into a boss battle.

Make Cinna always steal and the others attack.
Follow the path until you fight him again.

same as R1, but use Vivi's magic and Garnet's cure to cure.

The Bomb is behind Steiner and he doesnt even know it. just keep attacking him. The Bomb will explode and the Prima Vista will sink into the Evil Forest.
THE PRIMA VISTA WREAKAGE: THE EVIL FOREST
As the Prima Vista sinks into the forest, Garnet falls off. Ohno! After, go outside and talk to the Moogle there. He can save your game. Save. Now follow the path. You should have Steiner and Vivi in your party. Train a bit till LV 6 or 7. Also use Zidane's Steal to steal from the enemy if items are low. Once ready, keep following the path until you see a plant holding Garnet!

Steal: Broadsword and Leather Wrist
This fight is easy. Keep using Vivi's Fire. Steiner can attack and have Zidane steal. The Broadsword is a nice weapon for Steiner. Dont hurt Garnet though! Sometimes, the Prison Cage sucks HP out of Garnet. Use Potions on her to keep her alive. If she dies, its Game Over.
After Garnet is released, another Prison Cage steals her and Vivi is taken prison! Gosh!
BOSS FIGHT

Vivi will cast Fire sometimes on the enemy so don't worry that much. Remeber, use Zidane stealing items while Steiner attacks. Heal Vivi too!
After the assaults of the Prison Cage, return to the Prima Vista. Zidane wants to look for Garnet. But Baku could care less about her. Baku challenges Zidane to a fight and if Zidane wins, he can quit the team and search for Garnet. But you'll have it at another room. Look around the ship for items. When ready, enter the bottom room.

Steal: Iron Sword and Hi-potion
Try and steal from Baku. The Iron Sword is great for Steiner. The Hi-Potion is ok, but dont risk too much for it. After stealing the Iron Sword, start attaking him. Heal if your HP gets lower than 60.
After you win, go to the room Steiner is in. Talk to him and he'll join you. Go to the room Vivi is in and talk to him. Equip everyone with the best equipment. When your about to leave, Blank gives you a medicine that cures the Prison Cage's posion. Leave and don't forget to save!
